I've actually knit two scarfs now, one of which I still own (the other was given to my father, which he promptly ruined 4 days later by getting it snagged on his seatbelt). I want to take a picture of it and load it onto dA, but I'm unsure of the best way to get the pattern across.  Should I wear it? Drape it over something? Ideas?

I'm trying to learn how to knit. No, that's not totally true. I'm trying to teach myself how to knit using only a book, some youtube videos, and some super-cheap needles and yarn. It's kind of a disaster. I don't recommend it.

I started playing Lego Batman over the weekend. (Yes, I know it's a year old, but I've been busy, what with not working on my thesis and such.) So I was pretty excited when I got to Chapter 3 level whatever and it was basically a rip-off of The Killing Joke, with Batman having to hunt down the Joker who's kidnapped Commissioner Gordon and stuck him in a cage in the middle of a dilapidated carnival. Later, I got another Killing Joke surprise when I unlocked a new playable character that was, I swear to God, Joker wearing the outfit he wore when he shot Barbara.  Sure, they call it "vacation" Joker or "tropical" Joker or something, but whatev
